8 Reminders for Your Wedding!

8 Necessities for Every Wedding:
Marriage license- no matter how pretty your décor is and how well everything is planned, you are not going to make it very far on your wedding day without your marriage license. Get it early and put it in a safe place. A fee is involved in getting it as well as certain documentation is required when picking it up, make sure you do your homework before you go in to prevent any unnecessary additional trips.
Wedding dress- Every bride has different priorities. For some, the wedding dress is the most important purchase before their wedding day and for others it may be something else. Regardless of what type of bride you are, you will want to feel confident and beautiful in your wedding dress. What design of dress you choose should make a statement about yourself.
Don't forget that for most of us, alterations will be needed for your dress, so make sure you purchase far enough in advance for all of the necessary fittings.
Other accessories that the bride needs are: bridal slip, veil, shoes, wedding ring, garter, and jewelry.
The groom- depending on the groom, he may be involved in every step or just show up on the wedding day. Make sure you are open with your groom so that he can be included where things may matter to him.
Of course make sure that you have his tux, wedding ring, shoes, and black formal socks for the special day!
The cake- whether simple or extravagant, your the wedding cake will serve as a focal point at some point on your wedding day. Make sure you have everything planned for cutting the cake and if you will be serving it to your guests.
Flowers- the bridal bouquet can be a perfect outlet for expression for the bride. Choose your favorite flowers, colors, and design it in a way that shows your personality and the theme for your wedding day.
Flowers are also a wonderful option for centerpieces.
Décor- really adds the extra touch to any event. Centerpieces are a necessity to create a complete style to your tables. Sashes are an excellent way to add elegance and color either on the tables as runners or tied onto the chairs. If you plan ahead, there are DIY options or check out your venue to see what they have to offer for a discounted price.
Photographer- at the end of the day, the pictures are going to help you remember your wonderful day. Make sure you get a photographer that matches your style and understands your needs.
Thank you notes- this is a vital part that happens after your wedding day. Make sure to thank all of those who helped out and gave you gifts. This is something that many brides and grooms (or by this time- Mr. & Mrs.) forget about, but a Thank You can go a long way!
