Great Gatsby-Inspired Bridal Fashion Ideas

Yesterday we posted some 2013 wedding trends we found on theknot.com. One of the trends was Great Gatsby Glamour and today we found this fun article by Heather Hall from The Knot, about Great Gatsby-Inspired Bridal Fashion that we think go right along with yesterdays post. Check out The Knot if you haven't, you won't regret it!

Although the Great Gatsby remake doesn’t hit theaters until spring, we expect to see lots of pretty 1920s-inspired weddings in 2013. If you love the vintage Hollywood glamour, then you might want to steal a few of these Great Gatsby glam-inspired bridal fashion ideas!

A slinky embellished gown covered in crystals will definitely have all eyes on you. This super sexy, Great Gatsby-esque gown also has sheer flutter sleeves that are sexy, yet modest. (Gown by Jenny Packham, Spring 2013)

A delicately hand-crafted crystal motif headpiece is luxuriously reminiscent of the 1920s and not to mention the ultimate veil alternative. Pair with an otherwise simple silk charmeuse gown, or take your beaded dress to new heights and channel your inner flapper (Daisy would be proud). (Headpiece by Johanna Johnson)

A cushion set stone surrounded by brilliant diamonds in a pave setting will nothing but enhance your sparkling style. (Engagement ring by Mark Broumand)

In addition to your something blue, don’t forget about your something green! Pantone’s color of the year for 2013 is emerald and it’s hot for weddings! These art deco earrings will make a statement in your wedding day look and may also just bring you good luck! (Earrings by Badgley Mischka)

Don’t forget about your bag! Accessorize with a jeweled clutch in a chic geometric pattern to keep all the little things you need for touch ups throughout the day. (Clutch by Judith Leiber)
