Planning your wedding photos

Making a schedule with your photographer can ensure you get all of the photos you desire of your big day!

  • Here are some common photo opportunities:
    • Before your wedding day:
      • Engagement photos
      • Bridal photos
    • Pictures you may want before your ceremony:
      • Bride getting ready (sometimes with mom or bridesmaids)
      • Attire before being used or put on
        • Dress
        • shoes
        • wedding rings
        • garter
        • boquete
      • Groom getting ready or with best man
      • Bridal party getting flowers put on
      • Bridal party and guest arriving and socializing before ceremony
      • Groom next to officiant waiting for the bride to enter
    • Ceremony:
      • Bride walking down the isle
      • Bride and groom saying vows
      • The "first kiss" by the married couple
      • The signing of the wedding certificate
      • Guests cheering after the "first kiss" and as they walk back down the isle
    • After the ceremony:
      • Bride and Groom (all poses that you are desiring)
      • Entire wedding party
      • Family pictures: 
        • Immediate and extended family shots of both sides
        • Bridesmaids and groomsmen
        • Parents and grandparents

    • Reception:

Plan some of the poses you are hoping to get with your photographer before the big day. Do research and show the photographer examples and check out some of their previous work!
