A coordinator services would not only help save you time and stress, but they should be able to save you money. A great coordinator will be familiar with ways to create the event that you want while staying within your budget. Here are some questions to ask prospective coordinators before you hire them!

  • How long have you been working as a coordinator?
  • Did you have any prior experience?
  • Do you have a registered license?
  • Do you exclusively work with businesses or will you work with anyone?
  • How do you charge?
    • Is it a flat fee, percentage of wedding fees, or hourly?
    • When will I pay you, and will there be extra charges?
  • What am I responsible for?
  • When and how will we meet? How will you contact me?
  • Is this a full-time job for you?
  • How organized are you?
  • Will you be there at the event?
  • Will you work at any venue?
  • Do we pay our vendors directly or through you?
  • What is your cancellation policy?
  • How do you do under pressure?
  • Can I trust you to act on my behalf?
  • What happens if we have last minute emergencies or changes?
  •  Do you have references or examples of events that you have coordinated?
